How to Cut Cost On Your Wedding Stationery

Because of today's economic circumstances, I'm finding that though people are still getting married, they are wanting to cut cost for their wedding. Below are some simple tips that I recommend to everyone...

1. Do It Yourself

If you consider doing it yourself, I suggest you still work with a professional stationer so that you can get the most bang for your buck. Look into options like "We print, you assemble", "We design, you print and assemble","Invitation Kits" and lastly, "We Design Only". The best option of the four would be We print, you assemble. This is a better value to you because you would be able to choose from a variety of papers and you don't have to be bothered with the printing aspect of the project. Keep following to find more post in relation to DIY wedding stationery.

2. Use Postcards
Incorporating postcards in your wedding stationery is an awesome way to save your money and refrain from wasting paper. The cost of a postcard stamp is half the price of a regular stamp. I encourage you to use postcards for save the dates, thank you, as well as response cards in your invitations. After all you do supply the stamp for your guest to respond. The cost of stamps though it is small can really add up quickly especially when you are sending out over 100 correspondences.

3. Combine Menu and Table Marker
It's a great idea to use the table marker to also include the menu. In that way you would only get one marker per guest table. Be sure the table markers are double sided so that the menu can be seen from either side of the table. Think about it this way; if you have 100 guest and you purchase 100 menu cards @ $3 each, that would cost you $300. But if you have 100 guest and have only 10 tables at your reception, this would only cost you $30.

4. Use your favor as place cards or escort cards

Any favor that you are giving can also become the place cards or escort cards. In the above photo the gable style favor box has the escort card attached to it. In that way the guest not only receive their seating assignment, but they also receive their special gift.

I encourage you to check back soon to get more expert tips on your wedding stationery. Happy planning! :-)
