AIDS Atlanta Walk

Yesterday (Sunday October 19) Van and I participated the AIDS Atlanta Walk. We collectively raised money from our family and friends to donate to this good cause. A few of Van's classmates from Proviso East participated with us. Hey Wanda and Vanessa!!! It was a 3 mile walk through midtown Atlanta. We had a good time. It really felt good doing something that will benefit others. We will be doing more community service of this nature in the future so please check back!!!

The King and Queen

This ensemble was a wonderful set to work on. The best part about this ensemble was the use of the gold embossed swirls for the mounting layer of the invitation. It was an unexpected surprise to the wedding guest that received them. These pocketfold style invites were delivered in and antique gold metallic envelope, so there were sure to stand out amongst the other mail.

A Tiffany Blue Wedding

Tiffany and L'Kardos chose this elegant suite for their special day. The invitation was a pocket folio with an adornment of handmade embossed silver paper. There was also a rhinestone buckle to embellish the embossed paper on the front. Their program was a new design that we have created especially for Tiffany. It is a flat panel cover with two pages that ware staggered with their event information. This program was topped off with classic bow in silver double faced satin ribbon.

I hope you enjoy this set as much as i did designing it. Tiffany and L'Kardos guests were thouroughly satisfide and impressed with their invite to their wedding.

Nichole and Roosevelt

This was one of my favorite designs of this year. Nichole really took the plunge and trusted my advise on using a suede paper. She chose a signature pocket fold with two enclosures. She included the response postcard as well as an accommodations card with directions printed on the back of that card. The outside of the pocket had a badged that was used to hold the pocket closed.
The invitation itself was printed on Suede Paper. This paper is machine made in Italy and it comes in so many pretty colors. I can get it in a heavy card stock weight or even a text weight. Her family and friends also loved getting them in the mail. She mailed them out in a cranberry metallic envelope which I thought was absolutely gorgeous!
